Damp mornings leave moisture under the burner cap bridging the spark gap, or a brass orifice clogs and starves the flame. We dry and true the cap, clear the port, and test the spark module.
The RTD sensor's resistance wanders as it ages, so the oven runs hot or cold against the setpoint. We meter the probe to its curve, replace it if it has drifted, and recalibrate so roasting is even.
